Course Description

Sign basic phrases and complete sentences as you learn the signs for colors, numbers, locations, family, and the activities you like to do. Watch videos that demonstrate how to make the signs and how to incorporate facial expressions to communicate. Gain an introduction to Deaf culture and explore lipreading, baby signs, and the career of interpreting. This class is approved for State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECH) for educators.
