Explore the excitement of Detroit's bygone amusement parks. From the Electric Amusement Park established in 1906, to Boblo Park, which closed in 1993, author Joe McCauley will share information on seven of Detroit's lost amusement parks. Learn how they withstood the depression, multiple wars, and the introduction of televised entertainment, as well as what led to their eventual closure. Get a fascinating look at local theme park history. Light refreshments served.
