Reinforcing Algebra 1 Skills: Grades 8 & 9

Course Description

This class is designed to provide additional experience and practice for students who completed Algebra 1 but do not have a solid mastery of the concepts. Take what you already know about algebra and add to your skills by doing operations with polynomials, solving first degree equations and graphing linear equations with two unknowns. You'll also develop strategies for solving word problems. Strengthening these skills will help you in your Algebra 2 or Geometry class. Prerequisite: Algebra 1.
