Course Description

Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a real firefighter for an entire week! Work in a fire training facility with all the tools, equipment, gear, simulators and vehicles that our Fire Academy students use on a daily basis. Consider it a sneak peek into a future career choice, or just gain a greater appreciation for what it means to "answer the call." Either way, it is sure to "spark" your interest! Note: Wear flat, closed-toe/heeled shoes (no sandals). Camp activities take place both at Schoolcraft's Livonia Campus and Fire Training Facility. Transportation to and from the Fire Training Facility is provided. Bring a bag lunch to camp each day.
