Foundations of Artificial Intelligence

Course Description

Gain a broad understanding of the basic requirements, applications, and careers associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Explore the history of AI and the role that relational databases, statistics, and Python play in AI development. AI programming language, basics of relational databases and algorithms, and tools used with digital visualization will be taught as fundamental requirements for those seeking to increase their skills. One hour per week will be spent in virtual, instructor-led training and eight hours per week will be assigned to online readings and exercises. Basic math knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
