Course Description

Register in child's name. Introductions to the pool with a parent or guardian in the water. Students will work on building confidence in the pool while learning skills like floating and going under water with assistance. Parent water participation is required. Bring your own swimsuit, towel and lock. Children must wear a swim diaper. Skills to be learned with parent(s) assistance: . Safely enter pool . Wait for cue to enter the pool each time . Float on back with head on shoulder or in water . Float on front . Show interest in bubbles blown by parent . Begin kicking on front . Reach for toys on top of water as well as under the surface . Practice climbing out of the side of the pool . Learn the 1,2,3, go cue for going underwater
