The Michigan Chronicle, the region’s oldest African American newspaper, has named Schoolcraft College president Dr. Conway A. Jeffress as one of 50 honorees inducted into the Men of Excellence class of 2017.  Honorees were chosen from over 400 nominations based on their exceptional success in business, community involvement and philanthropy. 
     Dr. Jeffress and the other members of the Men of Excellence class of 2017 was inducted June 30 at a celebration at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit.
