Baritone Jason Coffey Kicks Off Fall “Noon Concert” Series Sept. 27

     Opera singer Jason Coffey will perform a classical concert as part of the Noon Concert Series at Schoolcraft College on Wednesday, Sept. 27 in Room 550 of the VisTaTech Center. Praised for “singing handsomely” by the New York Times, Coffey, a baritone, is beginning a promising career in the world of opera. He is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where he received his degree in Professional Studies in Opera. Following Curtis, he attended the Des Moines Metro Opera James M. Collier Apprentice Artist Program where he participated in their scenes program, in the chorus, and in a master class with world-renowned baritone, Sherrill Milnes.
