Information Session for Alternate Route to Interim Teacher Certification Program Set for Nov. 15 for College Grads Interested in Becoming Teachers or Current Teachers Interested in Adding Endorsements
An information session on Schoolcraft College’s unique Alternate Route to Interim Teacher Certification (ARC) is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Room 100 of the McDowell Center on the college’s main Livonia campus.  The ARC program offers an accelerated curriculum to enable individuals with a college degree to become a certified teacher in one or two semesters, regardless of their academic major/minors.  The program, which is approved by the Michigan Department of Education, also enables certified teachers to earn additional endorsements in a wide variety of subject areas, including elementary and secondary education.
Teachers and those interested in becoming certified teachers can register for the information session by calling Kelly Rummel at 734-462-7375, or via email at krummel@schoolcraft.edu
