A fully online associate of applied science degree (AAS) in Fire and Emergency Services is now available at Schoolcraft College beginning winter 2019. This program is designed with online scheduling flexibility for students who currently possess firefighting certifications and seek a promotion or those who desire a professional position in the public or private fire service sectors that may not require firefighting certification. 

The online Fire and Emergency Services AAS degree curriculum provides students a wide knowledge base of the fire service and public safety. Students who complete the online degree will have the education necessary to work in administrative, preventive, investigative, and educational areas of the fire service. This online degree is aligned with the national Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education curriculum.
