As part of its 2019-2020 season, the Theatre Department at Schoolcraft College announces auditions for its fall play, Rabbit Hole, by David Lindsay-Abaire. Open auditions for interested students, faculty and staff and community members will be September 10 and 11, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the James R Hartman Theatre (LA 500) on the Livonia campus.
Paul Beer will direct this Pulitzer Prize-winning drama which tells the story of Becca and Howie Corbett, who had a picture-perfect life until a tragic accident took their four-year old son. In their struggle to make sense of their loss and find some kind of comfort, they drift apart, each seeking their own path to recover from their grief.
Performance dates for the production will be Oct. 25, 26 and 27 and Nov. 1 and 2.
No previous experience is required for those who audition. Audition selections and more information is available at www.schoolcraft.edu/theatre. Questions may be sent to the director at theatre@schoolcraft.edu.
