Bravo and accolades to one of our favorite accounting professors, Michelle F. Randall, on her appointment to Treasurer of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants! Established in 1901, this leading statewide professional organization is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the value of the CPA profession. In fact, MICPA has more than 19,000 members who work in business, education, government, and public accounting; and members serve as trusted advisors for businesses and individuals while embracing the highest standards of professional and ethical performance.
“Serving on the MICPA Board opens up networking opportunities for my students to gain access to professionals in their chosen field of study,” stated Randall. “In connection with the MICPA, I stay informed about the needs of the accounting industry and what it takes to be a successful accounting professional. That knowledge is used to keep our accounting programs relevant in preparing our students for the accounting jobs of today, as well as in the future.”
