Schoolcraft College ranks at the top of return on investment of all community colleges in Michigan, both in the near-term and lifetime, according to an article published Tuesday in Bridge Magazine, a nonprofit, nonpartisan news source.

Bridge’s reporting and analysis showed that Schoolcraft College had the highest lifetime (after 40 years) return of investment of any community college in Michigan. Schoolcraft had a rate of return of $769,000, which is higher than several private four-year universities.

An education from Schoolcraft College benefits students in the short term as well, Bridge showed. Schoolcraft had a rate of return of $156,000 after 10 years, second by only $1,000 to St. Clair Community College over the same time period.
