High school students interested in earning college credits while still in high school or being home-schooled are encouraged to attend Dual Enrollment Information Night.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, February 5, in Kehrl Auditorium in the VisTaTech Center on the main Schoolcraft College campus, 18600 Haggerty Road, Livonia. The presentation by the Michigan Department of Education begins at 6:00 p.m.; the event will conclude at 7:30 p.m. No advance registration is necessary.
Students successfully completing their courses will earn college credit. They also can choose to use these credits to meet high school requirements. Generally, the tuition and fees associated with dual enrollment are covered by the school district. Students should meet with their high school counselors to determine if they are eligible for dual enrollment.
