The Focus Series presentation for today, Thursday, February 6, has been canceled due to the weather. It will be rescheduled. Coming up at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, in LA 200, “Best Practices for Communicating in a Global Society” will be explored. Lisa Lark, a Director in the Auto & Mobility practice at Detroit’s Lambert & Co., will discuss how rapidly changing technology has created a faster-paced, more globalized business environment with communication challenges working across cultures and time zones.

This year’s theme for the Focus series is, “Language and Communication Around the Globe.” The Focus Series is presented by the Schoolcraft College International Institute and supported by a grant from the Schoolcraft College Foundation.
