You’re hungry, but that meal you packed doesn’t sound that great. You want to leave campus for a bite to eat before your next class, but the weather is bad, plus you don’t want to lose that great parking spot. Don’t worry. Schoolcraft has several excellent dining options, starting with these three spots in the VisTaTech Center:
American Harvest
American Harvest is the jewel of Schoolcraft and pride of our staff of Certified Chefs. This is the fine-dining option featuring world-class food served by culinary students in a classically casual setting.
Creative entrees, artisan breads, house-made charcuterie and French pastries all are artfully prepared by students, using classical techniques as taught by one of the most celebrated culinary arts programs in the country.

Main Street Café
Also near the main entrance of VisTaTech, Main Street Café specializes in gourmet cuisine served in the middle of the day. Second-year culinary students passionately prepare homemade soups, bread, pastries, salads, pastas, family-size entrees, cookies and lots more. Selections change weekly. Henry's Food Court
Just down the hall from the main entrance of VisTaTech in the Waterman Wing, Henry’s Food Court is often the go-to spot for students, faculty and staff on the run and on a budget. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, each featuring fresh products from local businesses and Michigan-based companies..
The Henry’s Food Court menu includes a southwest station, homemade soups, deli meats, Bosco sticks, pizza and our always-fresh salad bar. A large selection of snacks, candy and drinks are available as well, plus there are weekly specials. Click here for more information.
JC Café
For those in or near the Jeffress Center, you can stop by the JC Café, which is in the southwest corner of the building, next to the IHA Urgent Care Center. The JC Café features coffees, smoothies, sandwiches, salads, soups, pizzas and a variety of fresh bakery items. There are weekly specials and new items monthly, plus you can order online. The Ocelot Café
A variety of wholesome wraps, salads, snacks and signature smoothies that are made with 100% real fruits and vegetables with no added sugars can be found at the Ocelot Café inside the St. Joe’s Sports Dome. Many of the wraps, salads and snacks are available as a grab-and-go. Also available are coffee, espresso and freshly made artisanal pizzas. Click here for more information.
Ocelot Café Express
The Ocelot Café Express is located inside the fitness center of the Physical Education building. A variety of the same healthy and delicious wraps, salads and snacks from the Ocelot Café are conveniently ready for you to quickly grab and fuel up before or after your workout.
Schoolcraft Brewery
Schoolcraft Brewery sells the award-winning beer made by students in the Brewing and Distillation Technology program for carryout purchase on Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. in the American Harvest Restaurant. You can also buy Schoolcraft Brewery beer in four-pack 16-ounce cans at Main Street Café when open during the semester. Please do not open or consume on Schoolcraft College property.
