Area high school students who will be 2020 graduates are encouraged to apply to Schoolcraft College to become eligible for the Trustee Scholarship and be considered for one of two Award of Excellence grants the College generously offers.

To begin the process go to schoolcraft.edu/apply to apply for admission. Once you’ve received official notification you’ve been admitted, go to schoolcraft.edu/scholarshipsearch to complete the scholarship application. The deadline for the Trustee Scholarship application is March 27.

For the Trustee Scholarship, the requirements are:

• 2020 high school graduate
• Fall 2020 admission to Schoolcraft College
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• SAT total score of 940 or higher or an ACT composite score of 18 or higher

Award amount is $4,000 over two years

• $2,000 per school year
• $1,000 for the Fall 2020 semester
• $1,000 for the Winter 2021 semester
• Renewable for second year

For the Award of Excellence, the requirements are:

• 2020 high school graduate
• Fall 2020 admission to Schoolcraft College
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• SAT total score of 1130 or higher or an ACT composite score of 23 or higher

Award amount is $5,000 over two years

• $2,500 per school year
• $1,250 for the Fall 2020 semester
• $1,250 for the Winter 2021 semester
• Renewable for second year
