The Schoolcraft Connection, an award-winning, student-led publication providing the campus community with the most current stories in news, campus life, arts & entertainment, sports and community events, is accepting applications for all editor positions for the 2020-21 academic year.
All positions offer a $1,100 scholarship per semester (fall and winter only). Positions with compensation will earn $10 hourly in addition to the scholarship.
Schoolcraft Connection is produced both in print and online, providing students with the opportunity for professional and leadership development, to enhance their journalism skills and to make the most of their college experience.

- Layout & Design Editor
Scholarship-based positions include:
- News Editor
- Campus Life Editor
- Arts & Entertainment Editor
- Sports Editor
- Photo Editor
- Production Assistant
- WebMaster/Marketing Assistant
- Videographer
Those interested in working for the Connection must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a Schoolcraft College cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Be currently enrolled for 6+ credit hours for the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 semesters
- Meet the standard academic progress with a completion rate of 67% or higher
- Must have completed less than 90 credit hours
- Must be able to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours weekly
- Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor and Layout & Design Editor must be able to dedicate 20 hours weekly
