Consider being a Schoolcraft College Student for the Summer

May 11, 2020

If you’re a student at a four-year institution home for the summer, consider enrolling as a Guest Student at Schoolcraft College. You can earn credits to lighten your academic load when you return to your university while potentially saving money. Also, being a Guest Student is a great way to catch up on core classes if you had challenges during previous semesters.

All traditional, lecture-type classes will be taught in distance learning formats, which is a point of excellence for Schoolcraft College. We offer classes of various term lengths with start dates throughout the Spring and Summer. Please check out our website for more information.

Students who have not yet applied for admission must visit the Admissions page on the Schoolcraft College website at schoolcraft.edu/admissions to complete and submit the Application for Admissions before they can register for classes. You can view the page on financial aid here

As a Guest Student, you can register for classes without taking placement tests or sending transcripts. You don’t have to meet with a Schoolcraft Academic Advisor, either, though that is recommended to help ensure your class transfers to your university. Our Advisors can help you navigate through any questions you might have.

For more information on being a Guest Student, visit the web page or call the Schoolcraft College Answer Center at 734-462-4426.
