Originally scheduled for a March date, STEAMzSchoolcraft: Bridging the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences is back in a new and exciting way. In this age of digital technology, we are excited to celebrate all that STEAMz stands for by making the event 100% virtual.

Learning Support Services, Phi Theta Kappa and the Scholars Honors program invite students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of Schoolcraft College to the first-ever STEAMzSchoolcraft Student-Led Virtual Summit.

The Summit will take place Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. and will feature Schoolcraft students displaying their research on topics that encompass the STEAMz theme. Attendees will be able to engage in meaningful discussions and activities.

This year’s theme is STEAMzSchoolcraft: Bridging the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences. This theme investigates how these disciplines effectively build on one another in real-world settings to support students’ academic and professional goals. The “z” refers to Generation Z. This focus was selected because the current traditional college-age student (18-22) is a part of Generation Z, the eldest of this group entering the workforce.

Register to attend by filling out this form. Registration is required. Visit schoolcraft.edu/STEAMz for more information.
