Schoolcraft College is offering the opportunity for community members, students, faculty and staff to interact with and offer their comments on the three candidates for the school’s next president. The three finalists are:
- Dr. Glenn Cerny, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Schoolcraft College, Livonia, Michigan
- Dr. Paul R. Watson II, Vice President of Instruction of Kellogg Community College, Battle Creek, Michigan
- Dr. Sherry Zylka, President and CEO of Big Sandy Community and Technical College, Prestonsburg, Kentucky

“We are excited to introduce our three finalists for the position of President of Schoolcraft College to a wider audience,” said Brian D. Broderick, Chair of Schoolcraft College’s Board of Trustees and leader of the search committee for the school’s next president. “We are looking forward to continuing the dialogue with our candidates and value the input from Schoolcraft College faculty, staff, students and the community.”
Each “Meet the Candidate” session will be via video conference on the Zoom platform, facilitated by the College’s Search Consultant, Angela Provart, President of Pauly Group, Inc.
If you would like to ask a question, please email the question to her at aprovart@paulygroup.com. Please include your name and note which group you are a part of (student, faculty, staff, community member) so that Provart may request that you ask the question during your designated time period. The deadline to submit questions is noon, Friday, June 19.
The public also will have the opportunity to complete a survey regarding your observations of strengths and concerns for each candidate. The information will be compiled by Pauly Group and submitted to the Board of Trustees for their review before selecting the successful candidate.
