A popular program offered by Schoolcraft College for more than 30 years has a new name and a new look for 2020.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the popular Kids On Campus academic and skills enrichment program will be Kids Off Campus, with all activities in a virtual setting. Classes in art, science, culinary arts, math, writing, computers and more are available for first graders through high school seniors.
“When we made the decision to cancel in-person camps this summer, I knew we had to find a way to connect with our KOC families,” said Michele Bialo, Program Manager. “Creating virtual camps in real time allows kids to still have the same great Kids On Campus experience in the comfort of their own homes. We are very excited about the program that was developed and cannot wait to ‘see’ our students this summer.”
Each virtual camp will be two or three hours per day. Children will be able to interact with their instructors and other children through the Zoom platform.
Registration is now underway; classes start Monday, July 6. Go here for more information or to get started.
