Bonnita Taylor earned a master’s degree in General Biology and a Secondary Teaching Certificate from Eastern Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University with a major in Animal Husbandry and a minor in Applied Science. She was employed as a quality control inspector for the Kroger Company prior to returning to college to pursue a career in education. She has taught various science courses as an adjunct professor for Plymouth-Canton Adult Education, Washtenaw Community College, Oakland Community College, and Schoolcraft College. She has taught General Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology as a full-time faculty member since 2002, and has co-authored lab manuals for use in those courses. She is married with two grown children.
