Special Populations Scholarship & Support

The Special Populations Scholarship Program (SPOPS) provides assistance for tuition, fees and textbooks for students who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled in eligible occupational programs of study. The scholarship helps students acquire job skills and become financially self-supporting and personally independent.

Laptop and Hot Spot Loan Program

The Laptop and Hot Spot Loan Program provides support to currently enrolled students who demonstrate financial need and lack the technology necessary to complete their courses successfully. PC laptops are available for students to borrow on a semester-by-semester basis.

Applicants must be in good academic and financial standing with Schoolcraft College. This program applies to students enrolled in traditional, for-credit classes.  Those enrolled in Personal and Professional Learning are not eligible.
